Brief description: Two groups; Year 9 on HSBC programme and Post-16 Uniformed Services.
This residential trip, sponsored by the HSBC, is a great chance to experience the outdoors and to develop your leadership skills. You get to participate in a whole range of outdoor and adventurous activities and learn lots of new skills. The accommodation is based on a full board basis and all outdoor clothing and equipment is provided. This opportunity is quite unique for KS3 students at the CTC and it is intended that through the active participation in this type of programme that we believe it enables children and young people to acquire the qualities and personal attributes that will equip them with the resilience and creativity required for adulthood.
