School movie night in aid of Alzheimer’s Research

Churchill and Pankhurst students have joined together to host a movie night at school. As the Summer term comes to an end students wanted to celebrate and raise money for a good cause. Anthony Harris, head boy for Churchill says “We wanted to do another charity events as the last one has been very successful. Students enjoy getting involved with and helping good causes.”

Ben Jones, head boy for Pankhurst says “We are selling food and drinks and we are having a popcorn machine. It will be nice to see how much we can raise and do a good deed just before we break up.”

Year 7 student Mackenzie Dennis intends to go. “It sounds really fun and you’ll be with all you friends. I am excited to know what the film is going to be”

This event will take place on Wednesday 17th July and will start at 3:30pm. Tickets will cost £1.50 and can be bought from Miss Styche or Miss Martin.
