Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst is pleased to share the success of our students in this year’s GCSE results.

As you may be aware, the Department for Education had indicated that results across the country were to be more in line with 2019 levels. Our staff worked incredibly hard to ensure that our students have been cared for and have continued to receive the best education possible. We have ensured that students have been given every chance to succeed and pursue their chosen next steps.

We continue to offer our full support and assistance to all students in the coming days and weeks, following the release of the GCSE and Level 2 results. These have been challenging times and together we succeed. Our results are comparable to 2019 levels with many students securing further education at either sixth form, college, apprenticeship, or another suitably appropriate route. We are delighted with the resilience and perseverance shown by our students, however, we also recognise the additional anxiety caused by the events of the past three years and thank our parents and carers for their continued support.

Subjects such as Art and Spanish saw improved outcomes, whilst Child Development improved by almost 20% from their 2019 results. We are very proud of our BTEC pathways with over 90% of pupils achieving at least a pass in Sport.

In terms of individual success, KJa achieved outstanding results as she received grade 9s for every subject (English language, English Literature, Mathematics, Combined Science, Geography, History and Distinction* for Child Development).

There were notable success stories for many of our students including:

  • KHo (English language- 7, English Literature- 8, Mathematics- 9, Combined Science- 9-9, Geography-9, Sport- Distinction*).
  • NBe (English language- 9, English Literature- 9, Combined Science- 8-8, History- 8, Ethical studies- 9).
  • SSi (English language- 8, Mathematics- 8, Combined Science- 9-8, Geography- 9, Sport- Distinction*)

Students should be reassured that the grades they have received today have been fully earned and are the result of their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

We are immensely proud of our students at Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst, and we wish them the very best for the future, whether staying on into our sixth form or following pastures new.
