Students are taught to be WISER through our personal development provision. This key term runs through all elements of personal development, from assemblies to STEPS, LLL, Tutor Times, Careers and Enrichment activities

Our vision is that our children will flourish and lead fulfilling lives, giving back to their communities, because they know how to and choose to live their lives the right way.

Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance programmes make a major contribution in preparing our students for opportunities, responsibilities and experience of life. Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst is committed to providing a planned programme of CEIAG for all students in Years 7-13.

Relationships Education, Relationships and Health Education at Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst is called Life Long Learning (LLL). LLL is taught during a weekly registration period; it is provided through a spiralled curriculum which is age appropriate and in line with statutory guidance. The curriculum at Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst aims to ensure that all students are empowered with the knowledge, skills and cultural capital they need to succeed in future learning, employment and in life. 

STEPS is a compulsory subject from years 7-11, which aims to prepare students to live as a happy, healthy and informed citizens of the UK and the wider world. Through exploring the strands of Sociology, Theology, Ethics, Politics and Social Studies, the curriculum teaches students how to keep themselves safe and promotes the British Values of tolerance, rule of law, democracy, mutual respect and individual liberty. The religious and ethical elements of STEPS aim to promote the spiritual, moral and cultural development of our students.

Our extensive extra-curricular timetable allows students to take part in activities beyond the normal curriculum. It provides opportunities for our students to also represent the Academy and in turn excel in terms of their own character and values.
